What does one do when the guy you've been crushing on since you met him 4 years ago has a shitty breakup and swears off long term relationships? I'd been waiting for him to be single for a long time as shitty as that sounds, and now I have no idea what to do.

Hey!  So turns out my friend didn't have the funds to go even if he wanted to which I guess he didn't.
Additionally, I applied for the Disney College Program for Spring 2013 and got in!
That means I'll be in Cali from January to August.
Oh, and my mother is apparently upset that I got into Disneyland and not Walt Disney World. I feel really guilty even though I know I shouldn't...
I'm 20 now and it doesn't feel that much different... not that any age feels different anymore.

So my roommate from last year got into the Disney College Program. I've already said that.
We have a mutual friend that got put on the waiting list for it for about 2 months.
He was then called and told that they were filled.
He proceded to be a total ass to my roommate for the rest of the semester. Someone would simply mention something Disney and he would completely blow up.
One night I drove him home and he exploded with emotion. Screaming that he deserved it more than her and I wanted it more than her. He said she was purposely antagonizing him with her remarks about Disney.
Basically it was not a good situation to be in.
Well, I just found out he got a call saying someone dropped so he was in.
Whoopee. I'm just so upset at everything.
In addition I've agreed to drive down to Florida with my ex-roommate, so I'll be staying at Heartbreak Hotel along the way.

Just need a place to keep this. found it funny.

Disney College Program

Well, my roommate has officially gotten through the application and interview process. I was rejected after the online "interview." I really, REALLY am happy for her, but I can't help feeling if it weren't for her I would have gotten in, and conversely if it weren't for me my roommate wouldn't have gotten in. Don't ask me why I feel that way, I guess I just don't want to blame myself or Disney. However I just don't understand how me rating things one through five can show that I'm not right for Disney, or that my roommate WAS right. Okay, I just needed to get that out. Thanks LiveJournal for listening to me.

Writer's Block: A Bright Idea

What do you want to invent?

Tangled FanFic

I really just have an interest in one specific fic, and I'm sure it exists somewhere and I just haven't fount it.
The scene where Rapunzel and Flynn are trapped in the nook filling with water. I want to see an expansion of the scene where Rapunzel goes into all the things she hasn't done in her short life.
Flynn(Eugene?) being the (gentle)man that he is tries to help her fill some of these wishes on her impromptu bucket list.
This can be a fluffy or as smutty as whoever discovers this prompt would like to make it.
God I want this. I want this so bad.

Writer's Block: Blast to the past

If you could travel back in time, what would you tell your 10-year-old self?

You will lose many friends in the next 9 years but don't worry, everyone has to grow up and you just had to before them. Don't be sad. Don't pity them. They will make it someday. When they do you just have to ready to receive them with open arms and and open heart. Let them have their second chances, but don't let it happen again. When it does remind yourself you lost them one and remember the pain you felt; don't put yourself through that again. Learn to let them go. You're only hurting yourself by holding on.
